Brand logos on uniforms

Post by MikeUMA » Fri Oct 10, 2025 8:30 am

NCAA panel proposes rule change to OK sponsor logos on college uniforms
https://www.espn.com/college-sports/sto ... e-uniforms

In this era, not at all surprising. And the logos of the uniform manufacturers have been on unis for years, so this wouldn't be much of a change.

What brand logo do you think
1) Will likely be
2) You'd most like to see
on UMass uniforms?

Most likely: Liquors 44

What I'd like to see: Mike's Hot Honey

Take it a step further and add a sponsor to the court: T-Mobile Jack Leaman Court

Think MassMutual logo is on the Celtics uniforms. Would love to seem them be more involved with UMass. Otherwise, State Street or Fidelity. We send plenty of students from Isenberg to those places. It'd be great to have further cross-over.

Ah, the Sox, yes, not the Celtics. They need to ditch those losers and hitch their wagon to Frank's squad. I smell a banner year in Amherst upcoming.

Yep, and a massive sign in center field of Fenway that used to be the John Hancock sign.

The nascarification of sports really sucks. These obnoxious Strauss logos on every mlb helmet in the playoffs are gross.

I don't love it, but we're in the sports and entertainment business. It's an easy and not overly obtrusive way to make some money. We can't complain about wanting a better product but also complain when revenue generation ideas are introduced. This one at least puts no burden on the fans, unlike $17 gameday parking (barf).
