I cannot believe there is not a thread started for this yet?

Massey has this as a toss up (49% chance to win 27-28 predicted score), and I believe Vegas has Umass as a dog at +3.5

I am not much for relying on preseason / practice reports.... All i know is just about everything is new from last year so all I/we have is faith that Joe is going to be good at this and the team looks respectable in week 1. Win or lose, I doubt the final score will be more than a TD.

I am predicting home field advantage victory here:

UMass 31
Temple 27

Umass 56 Temple 10

I might go with what that hillbilly guy predicted: 4-8. Temple is a loss. He said our wins would be: Bryant, Western Michigan, Kent State, and Bowling Green.

Close to sell out, IMO. The school is doing a lot more to get students (new students especially) hyped. I think there will be at least 5k students entering the game. Hopefully they will be informed about how to enter and where seats are.

Based on Bajakian’s past, I can’t picture more than 35 points unless defense or return team scores. I think UMass wins this by 10. 31-21.

Looks like it will be broadcast on ESPN+. I'll be at a Labor Day soccer tourney for my daughter but will be watching on the iPad/phone. Go UMass!

Well, everyone has their versions of what success looks like. I'm looking forward to a new era of UMass Football, under new a new coaching staff and finally in a G6 all sports conference. Hoping for good weather, turnout, smother than expect transition to digital tickets from parking, tail gating pregame, Hunt Suits and tickets. Most importantly a great game day football experience!

First day of classes is Sep 2 so they will be moving in between the 25th and the 1st

New students will be on campus. School is doing a few events including at least one at McGuirk during orientation to get them moving toward attending, Move in starts 8/25.
