As part of the Pac-12's crumbling, Arizona State defected to the Big 12. In the pre-season poll, ASU was slotted 12th (just ahead of WVU, our Game 2 opponent).

Really excited for Saturday’s matchup against a current top 50 NET team, Arizona State, in the Hall of Fame Tip-Off Classic! Should be a great game in the birthplace of basketball.

We don’t have anything officially planned for a pre- or post-game gathering because of the doubleheader, but I know some folks will be at TAP SPORTS BAR at MGM with UMass running an event before the game if you’re looking for a spot to meet up.

I also heard that Dr. J will be in attendance at the games.

^ True. It's not a Vegas line, but it's ESPN's prediction based on their BPI formula. It's usually pretty close to the Vegas line. ESPN has the BPI spread as UMass by 2 for tomorrow and I saw Vagas lines at 1.5 so pretty close.

Another throwback to olden times as I'll be on the PA mic for Saturday's doubleheader. Thanks once again to the Hall for the opportunity.
