Game 10, 2024-25: UMass Lowell (12/7)

Anyone know if the time of this game changed? ESPN has it listed at 7pm but my tickets and both UMass and UML Athletics say Noon - assuming ESPN is wrong but just want to be sure I didn't miss where it had changed?

I would bet on the ESPN listing being wrong. You are correct in that everything else says noon. It better be at noon. My niece and her fiancé are driving down from Haverhill to go to the game with us. The game being at noon made it doable.

UM Athletics has their occasional mistakes, but usually not on the schedule. Trust that as the correct info.
Also, the game will be on TV (NESN+). When TV is involved, the time is less likely to get changed.

Do not be surprised when we lose. Pat Duquette is a very good coach.

I don't gamble and don't check out lines, but I'm assuming we'll be underdogs in this one. I predict that Rahsool finds his shot, but DHS will still be out and the team looks fractured with a scowling Frank and no more than 3,000 in attendance. UM Lowell by 7.

Waking up on a weekend, drinking, stumbling over to Mullins was a treasure for students when I was there.. idk these Gen Z kids suck, so we'll have to wait and find out - the amount of students versus CCSU was a disaster though

Agreed except the student turnout for bball game during my undergrad years 99-03 wasn’t much better.

This is from an Email I got about 2 hours ago from Umass Men's Basketball. It is definitely a noon game.
Noon Tip-Off | Men's Basketball vs. UMass Lowell | Know Before You Go
I don't know if we can score enough against Lowell to beat them unless our defense is much better than it has been. They've played 9 games and I discounted 3 of them. They played 2 DIII teams and scored 115 and 121 against them. They also played at Gonzaga and only scored 59. If you average the other 6 games, they are around 77 per game. Other than the SLU game, they give up around 70-74.
I hope Frank swallows his pride and gives Shahid 25-30 minutes. We're a much better defensive team when he is in the game. I'll be there +5 and hope we play a lot closer to what I think we are capable of than we have been. Remember, I said, hope, not think.

Temple 00/01 season 12:00 ABC game with Dicky V. Packed drunken Mullins Center and Umass gets blown out first half. That was the last 12:00 game with students. Never got another ABC game

Seconded on Shaheed. Or if we are going to lose either way, let’s make it entertaining with Shaheed.

ESPN+ as of now shows the correct Noon timing. And even Jay makes a mistake once in a while.

No lines out as yet, but I'd be surprised if we were dogs. Lowell is 26 spots lower in the NET than CCSU is, and they're still a lower conference playing on a higher conference floor. The River Hawks have been close in a few, but still have no wins above Quad 4. My guess is we'll be favored by 3½.
