Awfully quiet on the UMass front today. Nobody got any news?

A Chinook flew over today... it was really low, shook the house.

Nothing doing for us, but a lot of new entries into the portal today. It's up to 1,950 names. At this point, regardless of what Frank has intimated, I am getting nervous. If we don't get at least 2 or 3 good players this week, nervous will advance to worried.

We need a starting center, a backup center and a pure shooter. If Matt doesn't come back, I am comfortable with Daniel starting at the 4. But we are in trouble if he has to start at the 5. Maybe Worthy makes a jump in year 2 and can adequately back-up Curry at PG. If not, we need to fill that as well.

My doctor has me on a low carb diet. I grudgingly have to agree with him. Do you have any idea of what I can't eat or drink?
Beer
Pizza
Bagels
Cookies
and much, much more

It's hardly worth getting up in the morning.

Can you still drink kool-aid, 69? Because we'll be drinking it by the gallon as soon as the new players are announced.

I have meetings for my sandwich club every other Tuesday and am happy to share with you then. I will say that I, and I alone, decide the contents of my sandwiches.

The only way to find out is to try one - get a lamb gyro

1. Nice thin sliced meat (lamb beef combo usually or just lamb) right off the spit
2. Good pita
3. Combo of lettuce, onions, tomatoes, feta and tzatziki sauce

Just a great sandwich. Maybe second behind a North Shore beef.

^ I'm thinking that it is good thing to occasionally recall our heroes like the Big Deli, Jeff Salovsky.
