Totally agree! Miller was a stud as a player and I bet he will be a head coach fairly soon. Three years at Oregon under Chip Kelley, when the program was a top five team and eight really successful years at UNH.

Rough but accurate assessment. I am much more optimistic this year than in years past. All the transfers will definitely help.

What might this big news be? Maye a better question would be: "What are we hoping for?"

Having wistfully driven past the JMU stadium two weeks ago, I would love to see some news about substantial stadium upgrades.

Conference? Future scheduling announcement? Normal tailgating/seating at games this fall? Stadium? What could it be?

My guess is its about tailgating/return to full capacity McGuirk. There’s never been a formal announcement (to my knowledge) that fans would be back in full - just that we would have a season and fans based on state guidance. Others schools are making that announcement now and the fact that the social posts contained pictures of the game day experience speak volumes.

Agreed... that's what I suggested to a friend of mine yesterday when I saw it. That will be very welcome short term news!!

Wouldn't we all... but we likely wouldn't be told of that sort of thing via this type of announcement.

An announcement that we aren’t playing games on FloSports would be pretty awesome. Lol. Bamford needs to at least swing an ESPN+ deal.

You've probably seen the 2 announcements. No big deal other than the ticket prices. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think any casual fans will pay those prices for this product.

So the "big announcement" is that you can come to games and pay for tickets.

Yep, and that's fine by me. Hearing there won't be any restrictions is a big announcement in and of itself considering what everyone has just gone through.
