Perhaps a bit of an exaggeration, but recruiting is so much easier when you are on top. Regardless, kudos to Coach Carvel and his staff for already getting high level commits for the next 2 or 3 years.

He's got 1-1/2 years of eligibility, so he could be a key piece next year when Cale leaves and especially if Mario leaves. If he can return to form, this is a solid addition. From what I have been able to find, he had a serious back injury and has not played competitively since the 2015-16 season. He is not dressed tonight. Anyone know how close he is to being ready? We have seven contributing backliners now, so it's not like we need to toss him in the pool.

Carvel mentioned that because of his prior injuries (his back among other things) he's not going to rush him and he may not play this year.
