Umass has offered 2020 6’8 Brentwood F Zed Key while on his unofficial visit today!! He continues to impress!! #WeAreTheJayhawks

The staff offered Richie Springs on Wednesday night after checking out the MacDuffie practice...Springs is a true soph(still 15yrs old) 6'8 who plays well around the rim and can use his perimeter skills as a secondary weapon. They also offered 2019 James Bouknight that night. The problem is every high major that has shown up to recruit Ish Mouhammed has left offering Springs, Bouknight and Franck Kepang who is s 2021 so the competition will be deep. Macduffie has 7 D1 players this year and 5 are true HM kids...those 5 are all underclassmen.

UMass offered 6’6 SG Gary Grant from St. Raymonds. Same school that Omar Silverio goes to.

Only one other offer so far, St. John’s. I love that we are getting into the NYC pipeline of recruiting. Would be absolutely huge for UMass.

We offered 2020 center cliff omoruyi a while back. He plays for The Firm AAU and roselle catholic. Roselle catholic probably number 2 high school in nj. He was also at the minesotta game and was taken to the locker room by a manager after the game

^Oh wow, was not aware of that. Long, quick and athletic and still has a lot of room to grow. This is the type of player that UMass needs. Can’t remember the last down low player of a similar built that we’ve had. Rasheen Davis time!!

Until Niles has completed and reported on his thorough video analysis so he can declare these players as the next coming of Jesus H Christ this thread is invalid!

I need to know if he thinks they have a high motor, good shooting stroke, and an acceptable basketball IQ before I can get really excited about this potential 2020 Class.....

^ Be nice. Niles has not posted once on 2020 recruits. I'm more curious about 2019 as that will be a big year for us.

Eldon, this one's for you. A high motor guy with length and he can elevate and shoot (Actually I know nothing about him other than he is a 6'6 SG).
