10 points ain't exactly a whooping, but a double-digit margin is certainly a big FU to all the haters who ran Cal out of Lexington.

Bruiser looks like he hasn’t aged a day.Old Cage wrote: Sun Feb 02, 2025 9:01 am Fun seeing the Rupp faithful head for the exits down 14 with several minutes left, and nice to see Bruiser on the bench.
Enjoyed watching the game !MikeUMA wrote: Sat Feb 01, 2025 11:36 pm10 points ain't exactly a whooping, but a double-digit margin is certainly a big FU to all the haters who ran Cal out of Lexington.
Not for nothing, but Cal was a victim of being Cal. You can only go so long without delivering top end results acting like he does before people grow tired of his schtick - especially in a blue blood school like Kentucky.MikeUMA wrote: Sat Feb 01, 2025 11:36 pm10 points ain't exactly a whooping, but a double-digit margin is certainly a big FU to all the haters who ran Cal out of Lexington.
CHB????Camby4Life wrote: Mon Feb 03, 2025 12:10 pm Anyone read the CHB article from the weekend? Classic Shank piece, listing his moves if he was in charge of sports for a day. Of course one of his moves would be to remove the Cal statue from Umass. Dude still holds a grudge.

In this era of dying journalism, it's really amazing that a guy like that, who keeps going back to the same tired takes, still has a job. Like really, who wants to keep reading that shit?Camby4Life wrote: Mon Feb 03, 2025 12:10 pm Anyone read the CHB article from the weekend? Curly Haired Boyfriend... the nickname Carl Everett gave to Shank.

Reminds me of the 90s movie The Paper and the editor's (Robert Duvall) rant about columnists:
I hate columnists! Why do I have all these columnists? I got political columnists, guest columnists... celebrity columnists - The only thing I don't have is a dead columnist. That's the kind I could really use. We reek of opinions. What every columnist at this paper needs to do is to shut ... the fuck ... up.
I know the writers of newspaper stories don’t select the headlines of their stories. I wonder if the same applies for pictures that go with stories. There are two (2) pictures that are enclosed in the CHB article ; Rick Pitino and Liam Coen……maybe a UM person getting last word….lolCamby4Life wrote: Mon Feb 03, 2025 12:10 pm Anyone read the CHB article from the weekend?
