Chaz made the midseason Wooden Award watch list top 25.

Hadn't they been ignoring him? Anyway, that's awesome. He deserves it.

Not sure if this has been posted elsewhere-and I know Bilas has taken some flack on other threads about not showing UMass love, but he has Chaz listed as one of the most underappreciated players in the country.

I'm wondering if Chaz's foot was bothering him last night. I hope it's the kind of injury that just gets better and doesn't need a lot of rest. 'Cause he doesn't seem to be getting a lot of rest.

^^ Ha, yeah that might even be an understatement. Last night he got ONE minute of rest... But I completely agree, I hope it's an injury that is getting progressively better and not deteriorating.

He's averaged 36.5 minutes a game in the new year, and there are no signs of slowing...

^^I was wondering about Chaz's health too. He doesn't look to be 100%...although he won't let it show on the court.

A different kind of gamesmanship...don't let on that you're hurt.

Aside from the coaching staff fixing some glaring problems, how we do the rest of the way will rely on Chaz I believe.

In our 4 A10 wins he is averaging: 18.5ppg while shooting 51%. Dishing out 7.25apg while averaging 3 turnovers per game for an assist to trunover ratio of 2.4:1.

In our 2 losts: 10.5 ppg on 24% shooting. 5apg to 4 turnovers per game for an assist to turnover ratio of 1basically 1:1.

A glaring stat is his 3pt % in the W's vs the L's. In the wins he's 9 for 16 for 56%. In the 2 losts, 0 for 6.

Said many times but I think Chaz needs to be more aggressive in the 1st half on offense. Drive the lane, get fouled, open up the outside for other players, and then hoist a couple threes as well for the hell of it.

Chaz missed the front end of three 1:1's last night.

I think that it's more than aggressive offense, assists and 3 pt percentages...

I'd like to see him bring back the floater in the lane and the 15ft jumper (not sure he ever used that jumper all that much though). Right now everything for him is a deep 3 or a driving layup attempt.

Anyone consider Chaz's deep bone bruise in his foot is a serious problem affecting his performance? Anyone on the board have any insight into that injury? Could be why he's picking his spots (i.e., waiting until the second half) more than he did at the beginning of the season. Do those things heal within a week or two, or linger?
