Yeah I can’t wait until we get another middling coach like Matt McCall back in here.NilesGold wrote: Fri Nov 21, 2025 9:31 pm This was a pathetic loss. The Frank Martin era can’t end soon enough. I don’t want to spend another second debating why we lost a game here or there or what mistakes they’ve made, all you need to know is that we’re headed towards a third bad or middling season for 3 out of Frank’s 4 seasons here.
Maybe I’ll get sucked back in soon, or maybe during the MAC tournament, but I’m not so sure, I might just sit this out until next season or even until Frank is gone.

Came here for the post game Niles post and it’s getting worse. Taking a break from this team and Frank would be a good move for your mental health. It happens when you follow sports. I’ve done it for Boston teams over the years. Dave Lewis with the Bruins, Bobby Valentine with the Sox and our favorite guy Ricky P with the last year of the Celtics. It’s good to take a break when you get that enraged with the coach and product.Quann wrote: Sat Nov 22, 2025 10:00 amYeah I can’t wait until we get another middling coach like Matt McCall back in here.NilesGold wrote: Fri Nov 21, 2025 9:31 pm This was a pathetic loss. I am actually too young to have seen his teams, however the last "Lunatic Coach" for MBB was by all accounts, Matt Zunic, who's winning percentage wasn't horrible.
Season Overall Win % Conf Win % Place Post-Season
1959-60 14-10 .583 6-4 .600 T-2nd none
1960-61 16-10 .615 4-6 .400 4th none
1961-62 15-9 .625 8-2 .800 First NCAA 1st round
1962-63 12-12 .500 6-4 .600 3rd none
Totals 57-41 .582 24-16 .600
All due respect, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I'm gonna pass.

Saturday Hoops Haiku:
Frank once knew coaching
Frank once had success
But Frank has lost his fastball
You’re welcome. If viewing from your couch, enjoy the vicarious sea breeze of paradise. For those at the Holiday Inn, there’s a pool side soca band perorming this afternoon called the Palms of Mediocrity.
