Game went just as expected. Remember when Whip's teams could actually compete with better SEC teams. Those were the days.

Here's an idea from the "what do you have to lose" file:

For the rest of this year, start a backfield of Hairston at QB, either Campbell or Hester at 1 running back and Haston as the other running back. It would be a much tougher team to defend. If it works, we have our backfield for next year (I think Campbell has another year, but not positive). If it doesn't work, so what.

I agree with you. Use the rest of this season to prepare for next year where we can have a chance to go to a bowl game.

Was any reason given for Phommachanh not returning after halftime? Any information as to if/when he will return? The announcement of his second half departure seemed rather cryptic.
