So this means no ncaa tournament eligibility until when?
No postseason ban. Sanctions are listed in a link on the 1st page of this thread.
Two years of probation, from Oct. 16, 2020, through Oct. 15, 2022.
A $5,000 fine (self-imposed by the university).
A vacation of records of contests in which student-athletes participated while ineligible.
What does "A vacation of records" actually mean? Do they get them back after the probation is over if they don't screw up? Or is it permanent? If it is permanent I think a clearer way to word it would be simply: "The records are vacated"

For any of you who, like Preecher Jenkins, foolishly think that the NCAA sanctions against the UMass Women's Tennis Team shouldn't matter to the players who were affected, I suggest that you read Tara Sullivan's excellent piece published in today's Boston Globe sports section.
P.S. Yes, I know, this belongs in the "Other Sports" section, but there's a hell of a lot more readership here, and I hope that everyone who reads and posts here supports ALL UMass teams, not just hoops.
P.P.S. An amusing side note -- as you may have seen, the men's BB team and women's tennis team coaches now must tell recruits that their programs are under probation from the NCAA. When JC Nunez, the current tennis coach, recently brought this up in conversation with a recruit, she asked "what are you on probation for?", and when he said "a phone jack", she replied "what's a phone jack?"

She must not have ever had a boyfriend that couldn't make it over to her house and was looking for an alternate release method....

The correct response is "My name isn't Jack."

Phone jack? Is that when someone mugs your phone?

FWIW. We are not alone. 712 major infractions since March of 2014.

If you stay awake for more than two pages, you're way ahead of me.

He has every reason to be pissed. Good for him for vocalizing it.
