^ Good tip coach. Clark averages 31 mpg, he played only 21 minutes last night and it had nothing to do with foul trouble.

I'd like to complain about DK's hair. My wife hates the gel look. He should be fired.

Each player has a role, and Tyler's is to hustle and do the little things that help the team. When he fails at that, it's time to sit him. I do agree that he should have sat Trey in a couple of games when Trey was making almost as many bad plays as good.

I really have no idea how this is an even an issue. Coach gets asked a question. Coach answers question. I think I saw a tweet where DK was upset about a couple of loose balls TBerg didn't secure and that is what DK was alluding to with his answer. Somehow this turns into a thing. Jesus.

Honestly this is Exhibit A as to why I don't find myself spending nearly as much time here as I used to (don't worry there will be no Skip-don-abe-esque goodbye forever post ).

Hey Niles, fuck you and you're condescending comments. lf you put Cooley on the UMASS bench, he'd get a lot more out of this team than DK ever would. Since you're the resident expert on everything basketball, maybe you could enlighten us all why he's so good

To the DK defenders: Should one of the players state in an interview...just answering a question about the slow start... the FACT that the very thought, let alone the "plan", to have Holloway even attempt to guard Bentil in a man D was ridiculous and caused us going into a deep early hole in a game where we could not afford to get behind early. That the "coaching" gave us little chance to succeed. Would that be OK? Just stating fact.

You might very well be right about Cooley on the UMass bench. I know that Cooley is a really good recruiter and has assembled some top notch talent, beyond that I'm not sure since I don't pay too much attention to PC.

Have a nice day Floyd, I love you too.

I really don't want to get into this pissing contest, but Bentil was shooting 29% from 3 prior to this game and he goes 3/5. Yes, our interior defense sucked but going into the game I would rather have seen Bentil taking 3s than going inside.

You know, everyone sees things differently and has their own opinions, and that's cool, but if you dare say anything about DK around here, you might as well follow some other team because he's the next Brad Stevens on this board

Is this a real question? If so, I'm not sure that's how the coach-player dynamic works. Actualy i am sure, and its not how it works. I understand having issues with DK, I just don't understand it in this case. It was a fairly benign comment he made. Since the beginning of time, many coaches -- both better and worse than DK -- have made similar comments (and many of them much more forcefully) about thousands of other players.

And Floyd you can say all you want about DK. I think you are being a little over the top when you say people think he's the next Brad Stevens, though. We don't need to fill Eldons void this quickly do we?

I just happen to think this particular criticism is so far beyond ridiculous, it can't even catch a bus back to ridiculous.

I think that's a little over the top. I've been on here for years and rarely am critical of anything UMass, but once you question anything DK, you're eldon. like someone else said, if you're good with being ok, you're in the right place.

It's all good, I get it. Just send in your money, go to games, and don't say anything. Unicorns and rainbows

My point Floyd was that I don't think anyone thinks DK is the next Brad Stevens. Thats it. That is what I find over the top an an Eldonish thing to say. I don't care if you criticize DK...Painting with a brush that people think he's Brad Stevens is a bit much imo.

I have no problem with criticism of DK, but I'm getting frustrated by what seems like people blaming DK for literally everything that goes wrong. However good or bad you think DK is as a coach, everything that goes poorly isn't always his fault.
