Lost to eventual national champion Denver in double OT in the opening round of the NCAAs last year.
Lost a close game in OT on the road to national championship finalist BU in the Hockey East quarterfinals this year.
Lost a heartbreaker of a game to this year’s eventual national champion Western Michigan in the Frozen Four.
Congrats to Western Michigan but a big tip of the cap to UMass Hockey!
