We have been sold by some (well one) here about our coaching spend and how that makes a difference.... Well here is some info that I think is interesting.

Team 1:
- 2024 rercord 0-12 / Massey rank 134 (last) /Coach salary $525k
- 2025 recrod 4-6 / Masset rank 131 / Coac salary $300K

Team 2:
- 2024 record 1-11 / Massey rank 133/ Coach Salary $750k
- 2025 record 7-3 / Massey rank 96 / Coach salary $950k

Team 3:
- 2024 record 2-10 / massey rank 131 / coach salary $325K
- 2025 rerord 7-3 / Massey rank 106 / Coach salary $750k

It is not about absolute salaries, it was a point that will reframe. We are not sacrificing dollars for men's basketball with FBS Football.

UMass Men’s Basketball Head Coach Francisco (Frank) Martin held onto the title of the highest-paid state employee for the third consecutive year, with a salary of $2,004,060.

UMass Chan Medical School Chancellor Michael Collins ranked second, earning $1,241,074, while UMass Head Football Coach Joseph Harasymiak came in third with a salary of $1,222,055.

Frankly, they are both overpaid at the moment.
