Game 10, 2025: Northern Illinois (11/12)
Re: Game 10, 2025: Northern Illinois (11/12)
I'm not looking for an alternative to the UMass NIU game - I'm looking forward to that game. But thanks for the recommendation as to Ryan - I'm personally not a fan of the tortured folk artist genre.

I saw he’s playing there. Small world story, my first bartending gig was at Boston Harbor Cruises in the early 2000’s and we used to host a Friday Night Blues Music Series. Ryan was a regular during those years and had a great following. I now live on Martha’s Vineyard and saw him play a show at The Loft there a couple years ago.Juice Stand wrote: Mon Nov 10, 2025 1:55 pmGood shout right there with The Drake. The Ryan Montbleau Band is playing there on Wednesday night. He's been around a while and is a talented artist. I recommend checking his music out if you're looking for an alternative to the game.Camby4Life wrote: Mon Nov 10, 2025 1:26 pm Definitely not leaving the Hangar to watch a winless team in the cold. Might even head uptown to a concert at The Drake instead of watching this team.

The band is being sent to the opposing side in section 18. It is going to look really weird.Camby4Life wrote: Mon Nov 10, 2025 1:26 pmDefinitely not leaving the Hangar to watch a winless team in the cold. I have a feeling the hangar will be the place where most people stay all game![]()
Stadium is going to look really sad on the U. At least most MAC fans will be watching the Toledo Miami game.

The New Drake is the old Amherst Brewing restaurant right? Haven't been to Amherst too much lately.Juice Stand wrote: Mon Nov 10, 2025 1:55 pmGood shout right there with The Drake. I've seen him several times over the years. Thanks for the info.Camby4Life wrote: Mon Nov 10, 2025 4:15 pmI saw he’s playing there. Seriously tho I think if we lose this one, the theme song for the season should be "We're on the road to nowhere"
Time to Win

Tailgate lots open at 2:30 for Lot 11, South Loop and Stadium Drive. 3pm for everywhere else.
Our tailgate is starting a bit later, probably around 4.
Has anyone seen anything from the U if they are accepting in-person donations for those displaced by the fire? I know about the UM Foundation fund already.

Hard to contain the excitement around a Wednesday night MAC battle. This is exactly what the promise of FBS and ‘conference stability’ has delivered on. There’s no going back to FCS amateur hour. Game Day experience, quality parking. We got this.

The line is out:
NIU -11 and the Over/Under is 43.5.
Not sure how that over under can be so high. Nether team can score and NIU has a decent defense. This smells like a 20-6.... win for NIU.
on Page 1 I went with 13-6, but NIU will cover so this is my amended score pick.
