Great second half. Much better ball movement. Impressed with Donovan Brown and Carbuccia

I feel like this team has a chance to be pretty good, especially if they play as hard as they’re playing tonight.
They’re hustling, moving without the ball and playing aggressively on D, forcing turnovers. I don’t know the numbers but it seems like they’re shooting pretty well too.
Liking Bettiol!

After a disappointing first game, nice to see the team turn it up in the 2nd half and pull away.
Lemoyne only lost by 5 to Xavier. We also have to avenge losses to CCSU and Lowell.
A lot to learn about still with this squad.

Nice bounce back game for DHS. He was much more aggressive tonight, but I really don't want to see him on the perimeter taking 3's.
Jayden showed tonight why he is a starter, 10 points, 7 boards and 8 assists. Add in the deflections, balls saved from going out of bound, etc.
Bettiol is indeed a slightly lesser version of Josh Cohen. I think he will be able to score whenever he plays someone his size. Nice FT shooting tonight for him (6/7) and another plus is how many fouls he draws to get us in the bonus.
Glad to see Brown in there for 10 minutes. He can help us.
Our two point-guards are so different. Parker is a scorer, not dynamic, but he'll be a good all-around player. Danny is a true PG. Sees the floor, looks to drivee and dish. And, he is a real pest in man-to-man D. However, I do not ever want to see him take a shot from more than 3 feet.
Last, but certainly not least, we have to find a way to get Banks some open looks. Last game, Marshall took him out of the game in the 2nd half. It was obvious that Killings watched the tape of that game as he had a guy in Banks' shirt all game.
Lots more, but I'll wait until the LeMoyne game to see where we are. Either Albany had a bad day, or they are nowhere close to the 2nd best team in America East.

Didn’t you also call Frank a clown last game? Your hate for the coach is very strong, almost seems personal.
Re: Game 2, 2025-26: Albany (11/8)
Team looked MUCH better the 2nd half. They ramped up their intensity and really played tenacious defense. This team has much deeper talent and will wear teams down as the bench looks vey solid.
Bettiol has a nice all around game. He's more mobil than Cohen was. Him and DHS are pretty active together. Clerc is a nice player off the bench, different than DHS & Bettiol. Moves well for a guy his size
Guard rotation is fairly deep and looks like we have more shooters. To 69's point about Banks, I noticed he's out there a lot when he's the only real deep threat a lot of times and maybe its easier for teams to focus on him. Love to see what a lineup of Banks/Parker/Brown/DHS/Bettiol could do for a stretch offensively.
Carbuccia & Wimbley look pretty solid out there for freshman. Both look strong & can definitely contribute. And Jayden played a great all around game yesterday, a nice stat filling game combined with his usual toughness
Also nice to see the end of the bench get a little time as well.We all know they work as hard as the rest of them. Frank got them to respond out of the half too which was good to see. Nice all around performance by the whole team & staff

Came here to say the same thing about Bettiol. He's had a very impressive start to the season. 69, I wouldn't say that he's a lesser version of Cohen, but a slightly different version. Yes he's a little smaller, but as Floyd said, he's quicker and more athletic. It's nice to see that when Banks is bottled up, we have a couple other guys to pick up the scoring slack.Floyd wrote: Sun Nov 09, 2025 7:20 am Bettiol has a nice all around game. I forgot to bring my sign and also left a big bag of food donations on my kitchen table as I left the house. What a knucklehead.

Good first win... still lots to improve on. Nice little stretch coming up to work on things. There's talent here, hopefully things can come together.

Re: Game 2, 2025-26: Albany (11/8)
Nice comeback from the first game, still some things to work on but loved the defensive intensity in the second half. I think this team has the talent to compete in the MAC but they are still learning to play together under game conditions. Hopefully they build off this.
Jayden had a great game and is becoming a leader on the floor, he certainly filled the stat sheet last night.
Not sure what to expect Thursday but Le Moyne gave Xavier a scare and out scored them in the 2nd half. They are playing Bowling Green today at 2pm.
