I'll be there with my +1 (aka the wife).
Section F.
"It's gonna be awesome, baby!"
Very curious to see how this parking situation works out. They're saying to come in through the back entrance (Cold Storage Dr.). Hopefully I can get into Lot 25 and don't get stuck in Lot 12.
I’ll be there in section F along with ya.
As far as the parking situation goes, count me in with a lot of other folks who think having to pay to park is ridiculous especially for those with AD placards!
With that said, looking forward to supporting this year’s team.
I'm also in F with 2 others. Row 5 - stop by and say hello. I'll be wearing a black hoodie that says UMass Basketball.
Hello neighbor. I’m also on F Row 5 ! Seats 8 & 9
Your seat numbers?

A little off topic, but I was looking for spots to go out for a pregame meal and clicked on the Amherst Public House to see if they're open on Mondays (some restaurants close on Mondays). I can't find their website and Yelp is saying they might be permanently closed? That place is pretty new and I thought the food was solid. Anybody out there know what's up?
Edit: read that they were in some financial trouble over the summer and weren't paying employees:

Def not surprised, we went there with a big group in the spring on a Saturday mid-afternoon. After we ate we were planning on staying to watch a game but they said they were closing early at 5pm! On a Saturday!
The people who own/manage this place had another place in town "UpTown Pub" next to CVS and that place was never busy and they "closed of the summer" in June and never reopened, La Veracruzana is now in that location.
I'm just tryin' to get by bein' quiet and shy In a world full of pushin' and shove...

We talk to each other all the time at the game and we see each other at hockey games, but I guess we have never talked about the UMassHoops board. We will tonight.

That is crazy!
I’m sure there are others on this board that I know by sight but not by their board handle/name

Tried calling 866-Umass-tix, anybody else see that this is too many numbers?
Yes but it doesn't matter. After you dial the 10 digits any other dialing is ignored. It's just marketing to try to make it easier to remember how to call.
There used to be an ad campaign for 1-800-MATTRESS, and they'd say "leave off the last S for savings."

The Hangar is open tonight - normally not open Mondays but opening up because of game - I believe at 5pm. Also - The Collective is having their game day gathering at Ginger Garden on Northampton Street which is very close by the Hangar. Also - Northampton is pretty close too and Fitzwilly's or Joe's is always good.

I hate when places post words in the phone number. Just put the numbers. Nobody wants to translate letters to numbers and like debache states, when there's too many letters its confusing.
Guesses on crowd tonight? I'll say 2800
I'll be watching on ESPN +

I actually think there is some excitement right now with this team - I think the students always show up for the first game - it's when they lose 5 of the next 6 - thats when they stay in the dorms. I think there will be close to 4500 tonight

I usually have a feeling about a game, but I am lost on this one. Marshall is pretty good, they have some promising newcomers, and a 1st team and 3rd team SoCon player.
Can we hit outside shots and defend the perimeter?
