This thread has aged like a spoiled bag of milk.
Yes, time to start jumping on the SDSU Aztecs bandwagon.

Yep. Had some maturity issues early on. Got through them and had a couple of pretty decent seasons.

As long as we're on the tangent... After Curry Hicks Sage did a podcast with Lappas a year or two ago, I did some deep dives on the players in that era, Pugh being one.

This tournament sucks.
Analytics and three point contest offense sucks.
Transfer portal sucks.
College football power in collegiate athletics sucks.
Happy Easter.

Continuity is nice but Alabama is going to the Final Four with a rebuilt roster. Nate Oats had to replace 9 players and 3 assistant coaches.

And sounds and looks like a real ahole like Hurley at UCON. How much NIL dollars were involved in rebuilding this roster?

Hopefully enough to beat Uconn.

OMG, anyone watching NC State/ Duke? Just called a T On Kevin Keats for being out of the box after an iffy call against NC State. Reminds me of Cal

Duke/NC State was worst officiated game of the tourney. Review after review after review. Tons of missed calls or bad calls. Just an awful second half to watch.
One thing the tourney does still show is that post play is indeed not dead. Edey, DJ Burns, and Clingan were beasts.

Just a general observation. How many games were decided by a shot at the buzzer ? That's what made the tourney exciting in the past.
There are two many blowouts now.

Tomorrow night the Women's Final Four begin on ESPN. The MAC is hosting at Cleveland's Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. The very same location that the MAC holds their conference tourney.
