Missed most of the game, was already into blowout mode when I was able to get in front of a screen. Good to see a win, as always. Hopefully they can put on another show vs Harvard Friday.

I was worried in the early going, the scouting report on Q seemed accurate. We had a tough time defending them and we couldn't penetrate their zone for a while, but after about 10 minutes it started to open up. Having Cross out with fouls certainly doesn't help, you see what he can do when he's locked in.

Of the freshmen, Jayden continues to impress and Marqui had a nice night with some tough drives to the hoop. I was glad to see that Jaylen Curry looked more comfortable, still not great, but he settled in there. Robert Davis is still looking uncomfortable out there and is just dying for a couple shots to go down so he can relax. He'll get there.

Two fun games so far with few turnovers and a high compete level. Let's keep it rolling.

I wasn't liking all the backdoor layups we allowed but that got shut down pretty well. After they hit their first two 3's I was a little nervous but then they missed a whole bunch. Harvard usually runs backdoors very efficiently so I'm sure we will focus on that in practice this week.
