Y'all don't want big time football as much as SMU does...

That would be factually wrong. Conversations in your head about other posters does not make it true. "We get it," you like to make stuff up.

btw, I am guessing I have been following UMass football longer than you. Just a hunch. But keep up your road trips and tail gating. I think it is great the program has fans like you. Just a shame you have to be such a prick when others don't share your optimism or enthusiasm for the upgrade.

^ My apologies if I am wrong. It's just frustrating to see all the anti-FBS comments after every loss.

It's probably why I hate the losses in games where we have a real chance to win, because I know this type of anti-FBS stuff is coming a couple hours after the game is over.
Looking forward to the 2022 UMass Football Season (Oh boy, just jinxed that one)

Before anyone writes another doomsday post about the football program in FBS or about the program in general, please watch the video of the former players at Homecoming.

Yes, you are wrong. And, anti-FBS comments do not follow after every loss. Glad I could help clear up your obvious confusion.

^ To be fair, you are the one who jumped on this thread with "quotes" about RSox, Ktabz, and me.

Pretty much egging us on to respond to you. Or am I wrong about that too?

Yes, you are. Again.

And, I used actual quotes to make my point, so there's no need for you to use quotation marks around the word quote. Just the facts, dude.

Hahaha, highly edited quotes my friend that were from other threads. (Kudos on taking the time to go back and find them)

And what was the point of the post if it wasn't to egg us on to respond to you?

My post was totally to egg you, I won't deny that. That's why I even wrote, "Wait for it..."

I was just going to ignore you but then I decided it would be too much fun to see your response. You suckered me in. :D

No, direct quotes. Direct. Fact. Shortened, not [highly] edited at all. Even when the evidence is available in front of your face you can't get your facts straight. And so what if they were from other threads? What does that matter? They were listed to make a point about the kind of things people were posting, be that on that particular thread or not. Wow. You're slow, man.

Hahaha, Ktabz and Rsox hadn't even commented on this thread before you posted that, and the only comment I had made was that I was expecting this thread to pop up after the loss.

It's OK to egg us on, I get it, it's a message board and that's part of the game. I tried not to take the bait but couldn't help myself.

Cheers buddy, well played.

Come have a beer tomorrow at the tailgate.

Hairball just likes to stir the pot. Why else would he/she spend so much time checking other's archived posts. Hairball might be better off just saying what he/she really thinks and by not taking the role of resident troll.

Don't worry, Rayers. I have grown tired of NJU's stupidity. No more posts. He can't even follow the line of argument from a post immediately preceding his. It is pretty staggering actually. For your part, you are just an ass prone to self-aggrandizement and hyperbole.

Just curious, what do former players at homecoming have to do with FBS?
Bamford has erased McCutcheon

^ I didn't watch the video but I assume they talk about supporting FBS football. But like I said, I didn't watch the video so I could be completely wrong.

I'll have to watch it and see what Rayers is referring to.

It is a really good video with the players emphasizing their love for UMass and feeling proud to be part of UMass and the development of FBS level football. I can't do it justice. Check it out.
