Had an event last night and couldn’t watch or
follow , but noticed in the lineup that Nycz was out. Since it was the first game he missed, is this injury related?

First round of Hockey East starts tonight.
HE reseeds after tonight’s game, so we won’t know who is coming until after the games. Can’t be BU or UVM winner, because BU will be the highest seed left and head to UConn and UVM will be the lowest seed left and head to Providence.

Higher seeds winning the others would mean Northeastern; which would be the FIFTH game this season!

Since they reseed , pulling for a team isn’t guaranteed since someone else could have an upset and the team you want ends up with an upset and everything changes.

Looks like the higher seeds are all winning.

Wisconsin got absolutely wrecked by Ohio State. They were 2 spots ahead of us in the NPI, and with that loss there's a pretty decent chance we can move ahead of them with just a single win in the HE tournament.

Gotta win this one though. Currently sitting at 14 is not a great spot to be in, but at least we control our own destiny.

When I checked, a win over NU keeps UMass at 14. A loss drops UMass to 17. Perhaps things change further by other scores but that Wisconsin loss came a week too late for UMass unfortunately.
UMass Football: 22-3 at home when I was a student.

Leave the A-10!

HE announced the rest of the awards today:

Hrabal is the Goaltender of the Year and 1st Team - of note, he was a unanimous selection for GotY, and maybe even more impressively, he was the only unanimous selection for the All-1st Team
Musa and Keenan 2nd team

Earlier in the week, the Team won the Sportsmanship award, which is a really dumb name for being the least penalized team.
