tv 40 also indicated his wife was the hang up. she wasn't sure she wanted to leave the area. i guess $2mil per year changed her mind

Crooks, if you ever think that this program is ever going to be any more than it is you're dreaming.

Haha there ya go Bert, now Swampy will be back to pick on us. Quick, to the treehouse! 8)

The same ABC40 that totally dicked over the coach's show with that mid-season debacle has absolutely no inside sources on campus anymore. That is the LAST place I would believe about anything.

I want to be happy for Ford, because he has really helped this program the last few years. However the way he handled the last few weeks has been absolutely CLASSLESS, and I hope OSU is a disaster for him.

I am really afraid of what this is going to do to next years squad. I know guys on the team who are going to be devastated next year, and I hope we don't lose too many guys.

Didn't they also name someone else as our new head coach right before we hired TF?

They reported we had a done deal with Matt Doherty, but that was back when Guthro was there and he knew his shit. There was a deal witrh Doherty back then but he ultimately backed out.

ABC40 has gone straight into the ground in recent years.

I just cannot wait until the Cowboy fans get their first look at Travis Ford basketball. I hope he is prepared to change his style or my prediction is he will get his royal ass kicked in the Big 12. I certainly will never root for a guy with no integrity and even less character and that is Travis Ford. I agree with other posters -- Good riddance Travis. I hope you enjoyed taking the UMass devout and faithful on this ride.

To BostonBert -- you were right all along. For that I give you credit.

Once again folks, it is not the fact that he took the job. It is the classless and immature way he handled it. And, I could give a shit about me and the other fans. What about the kids on the team and the AD he made to look like a total Jackass? I still do not undertsand how anyone can defend the way Ford acted through this entire drama.

So, who's asked for their donation to the athletic department to be returned? Ya know, the ones made in the spur of the moment when we thought TF actually gave a shit about a program...
