Miami won today by 2 at Buffalo, so they’re still undefeated, and I’m hoping they stay undefeated until the game at Mullins, February 17. Hoping that draws a huge crowd and a ton of students.. chance to storm the court

Coach's post game interview he said we do not play good defense, still trying to find someone who can be put on a hot shooter.

Great observation. Yeah, echoes of that '07-08 squad when we could light it up at will.

Credit to the 5 shirtless dudes in the student section. Maybe they can get some buddies for the next one. Our next home game is (presently) undefeated Miami.

Martin is such a dick. Zero sense as to how he shapes things.

If you want to look at this another way, Martin needs players to go above and beyond to address the fact that he is not a good coach.

Look, I'm under no illusion that this is a great or even very good team. But if sports are entertainment, then they're getting the job done. That was one hell of an entertaining game. It isn't every night where you see three record setting performances. I probably would have preferred an easier win, but I'll any W we can get, and that was a lot of fun.

Great fight from the guys to keep their heads up, get back in it, and find a way to win.

George Miller (DirSport here) put his score sheet from this game on Facebook. It was the first time in D1 history that opposing players hit ten or more threes. Fun to see.
"Jack didn’t have any envy in him," Calipari said. "He was the greatest coach to ever coach here."

What an historic, entertaining basketball game this was! I've never witnessed great shooting by two opposing players as we saw in this game! Very disappointed in Frank's post game radio interview however. Not once did he mention how great of a game we all just witnessed and how entertaining it was for the fans in attendance or watching or listening. Instead he harped on the lack of defense from his team. He could have used the opportunity to recruit more students and fans to the Mullins Center to watch his team. I'm not sure anyone could have held McIntire in check last night. He was hitting everything!

I totally emphatically agree. every game is down to the wire. Wild . the students should be in this environment. where is our swim team like Miami?

That’s a great way to think about it. This is a team UMass should have beaten far more easily, given CM’s roster turnover from last year, new coach and the sub .500 record.

UMass isn't blowing anybody out. We won by 6 pts which is a relatively huge margin for us. Credit to CMU - McIntire was incredible, they played tough and scrapped hard to the end. That's how it goes in the MAC - all our MAC games are all 4 pts are less either way. Very fun game. Agree about the lack of student fans - but they missed a really fun game. imo Frank's presser was good I like the focus on getting better on defense - lots of room to improve in all phases. not sure why some think Frank s/b ecstatic over coming from behind at home to beat the 7-16 Chippewas. Take the W and keep on rolling.
