Game 3, 2025-26: Le Moyne (11/13)

I'm more used to the coaches who run the opposition off the floor then put the subs in. Frank gave different guys a shot throughout and the game sort of yo yo'd.

No complaints, though. Happy to get the win, even though the Marshall loss still bothers me.

Looking forward to giving CCSU payback and then getting into the meat of non-con.

not worried about attendance right now! No way the students are going to this game when the Pats are playing this good! I'm different than my son - I was there in the early 90's and Cal years - I would have chosen UMAss over the 11th game of a Pats game - my kid said he's staying in dorm and watching Pats and I can't blame him = but whatever - UMAass needs to earn it. Just keep on winning and the fans will come! I feel like we'll see a good crowd on Sunday - 2pm - no Pats - just show up!!

Like this new team so much. Play together.Pass the ball. Unselfish.Very good center-has all around game unlike lastyears four.Great 3 point shooter in Banks.They compete. Enjoyable to watch. So different then last years team.

When we hit 3's the way we did tonight we will be hard to beat unless we beat ourselves. We almost did that in the last 10 minutes with some horrendous turnovers, matador defense and no rim protection. The starters played very well. It looked like Frank was trying to find different combos among the subs to see what would work, but none of them were any good. I felt bad for Luka. For anyone else who was at the game, this was the worst I've seen him play since he got here.

There are some things to work on, but I'm starting to feel better about this team. Let's see how they do on Sunday.

no question in my mind that the team is better than last year. Get past CConn on sunday and then let's see how they do in the tourny.

overall a great game. Marcus and K'Jei were solid. Jayden to me is amazing. tenacious. if he starts scoring watch out. he reminds me of Danta Bright or Dingle. Tremendous role player. Interesting minutes Bettiol ( 33) Banks ( 32) Parker ( 24) Ndjigue ( 33) . Hopefully find sub rotation that works. i like that he plays guys. Danny Carbuccia was such a spark. he was having fun . Really like Bettiol in the post tonight. hope his play continues. On to the next game. That CConn can play so will be another level up testing our guys. hopefully this is a huge bump for them.

This would have been a 20+ point win, but with around 10 minutes to go, Frank went to the end of the bench and a mishmash of guys that aren't ready and let it slip away. This was the first game where the starting unit looked more comfortable together. And the starters all look legit, probably even with the 2023 starting unit (Cohen, Cross, Ndjigue, Diggins, Keon), and will help to start and close games strong. We need to find some decent bench pieces though (aside from Carbuccia, who was great last night). Frank is tinkering, somebody has to step up.

Did anybody see K'Jei's free throw shooting? Incredibly smooth. We've been missing that. I didn't know what to expect from him and I've been really impressed. We'll see how he does as competition ramps up, but he's been very good.

Losing Rivera (and the Egyptian dude) was already going to improve this team, but the new guys seem pretty decent.

How they set the lines on games is crazy. We were giving 14.5, & won by 14. And we must have missed 4-5 FTsj in the last minute. Not suggesting anything but how they predict the lines so closely is mind blowing

He got popped in the face by an inadvertent arm swing from Leo and went down. Hoping it was minor, but he didn't return. Anybody see it well?

From Frank's postgame comments, it sounds like he got popped in the nose and I wouldn't be surprised if he broke it or had some bleeding that he was trying to stop. Hopefully he wasn't concussed and doesn't miss any time.

He got hit in nose/face and got dizzy. He is ok though. No concussion, won’t miss any time.

Bingo. Swapping Bettiol in for Rivera is a massive upgrade. Rivera was a one-trick pony. He could get up and block shots/rebound. He was a bruiser. Bettiol is a basketball player. From what he's shown in the first 3 games, he's smooth around the rim, he can pass, and he's an adequate rebounder. Much more well rounded and probably way less knuckleheaded.

The Rivera thing was so mismanaged last year... very unfortunate. Bettiol is a solid player and a much better piece, no doubt about it.

Bettiol is good, and he allows DHS to roam around a little more and get those short jumpers. They're a good combo. Glad DHS is OK and won't be out any extended time

Jayden has been excellent so far. Made a nice save out of bounds last night that resulted in a quick runout bucket. He's our lunchpail, do it all guy who sacrifices himself for the better of the team. Every team needs that
