I understand how these conferences were formed and how they were based on geographical locations, but everyone needs to realize that this is a new time and age. If the Big East wants to add someone in Georgia, why not? They are the Big EAST. If the ACC wants to add UMaine, go for it.

That is all I'm saying.

I'm not compaining about any of that, actually.

I was only lamenting the fact that UMass is not in the Big East, where I think it belongs.

Speaking of weird conference make up's how about Air Force being in Atlantic Hockey with Holy Coss,AIC,UCONN etc

Air Force moved to Atlantic Hockey primarily because they wanted to be in the same conference with Army. Plus, the CHA was beginning it's long flush down the toilet (which is now nearing an end). Plus, since in the CHA they were already flying to every single opponent in states like Michigan, Alabama, Minnesota, and NY, what's the difference?
