I know the transfer portal has only gotten more popular each year, but let’s pump the brakes with the reactionary comments about it killing the tournament. I know it’s a popular soap box to stand on right now, but 16 seed FDU just beat a 1 seed 2 years ago and St Peters went to the elite 8 as a 15 3 years ago. We don’t need to draw comparisons to 2013 and FGCU. I doubt anyone on those 2 teams were on any high major radar before their runs. Now after their runs will they generate interest? Sure. But that’s the whole point of Cinderella. She comes out of nowhere. She’ll be back. Just enjoy what should be an amazing sweet 16 with some really good teams. The tournament doesn’t have to be only the first weekend.

Create the same financial structure as the NBA and you’ll have some stability but at a lower cost. Until this mess is resolved college hoops will continue to be a shit show where only highest bidders will win consistently (ie MLB). It’s embarrassing as a sport when one conference has almost a fourth of the ncaa bids. Though the A10 is not as good as it was 10 years ago, it certainly is worth 2-3 bids per year. No program has been screwed more than Dayton!

Not high on the nba draft board! His game is slow and unathletic as he will be a a marginal player in the NBa unless he improves his outside shooting.

right now he's ranked #72 so according to that he won't even get drafted - will go down even more once more kids declare - if he's not a 1sr round pick he will make more in NIL next year - hopefully his agent gives him some good advice

Agree on that! Watching RJ at UMass we often forget that he did not wow you with his quickness or athleticism. He was 6’7” and could shoot over most guards and small forwards and get hot at times. He was a good player for us but certainly not great!

RJ Luis went undrafted.

Two A10 players got drafted, Rasheer Fleming from St. Joe's and Max Shulga (by the Celtics) from VCU. No one from the MAC.
