Was wondering about that….not a greater Amherst Guy, so apologies if these missing guys have been explained…Van Tassell hasn’t been MIA for awhile (don’t think he has played in 2026) O’Connor ( has only played 4
Games) also and DeAngelo went out last weekend. Duerr has been in and out….

That goal was great and it isn’t a normal part of LK’s game! Offense needs a kickstart to create anyway possible!
Still a very perplexing team. Almost half of their shots come in the 1st period (13/27) , out shot NE by 1 in P1 and then get out shot by 18 the rest of the game.

Nice of Lowell to let our guys wear our home jerseys today at Mullins East.

Happy to be up 2-1 after 1. Thought Lowell was the better team for most of the period. Lot of play at the UMass end. But two really good goals by Klecka and Musa.

UMass overcame a rocky start to finish the 1st up. They took over in the final 10 minutes.

The passwork on the UMass goals was great.

Really nice to get a win on a day where Hrabal wasn't his best. Wasn't looking good after Lowell found 2 goals in the first 5 minutes of the 3rd to tie it up. Still, he did a good job holding the fort and making sure Lowell never got the lead.

Thought Lowell played like the more desperate team (and given where they are in the standings, hard to fault them for that) while UMass was more patient. Then when it looked like we might be headed to OT again, Dunn cashes in with the go-ahead goal and Musa secures it with the empty netter a minute later.

Nestrasil left the game in the first and did not return.

Anybody know how he’s doing?

Winning streak broken at Lowell. Got outshot by 50%….. hard to win in Hockey East with 22 shots.

Good start, two goals in the first 5 and a half minutes.

Ended up winning 5-2 even though Lowell came back and made it 2-2. Got the lead back heading into the 3rd. Musa then added a short handed goal and that turned the tide of the game.

Bazin in desperation mode pulling the goalie with 5 minutes left which was a little shocking. Wonder if he is feeling the pressure and coaching for his job at this point.

Was going to be hard to take all 3 from these guys but I'll take the season series win.

Carvel said in postgame they should be healthy after the bye week, so that’s good.

As to Bazin- I wouldn’t fire him if I were UML. I think he’s a really good coach and he’s done great things there.

They weren't going to win every game. Great bounce back last night. Back at 19 in the NPI... can't have a letdown vs UNH.
