The 5ppg was freshmen year he’s averaging 11.5ppg and 6.5reb in his Sophomore year. He prepped at Bella Vista which I believe is a solid west coast program.

Here’s a question, could we be targeting foreign players because they aren’t able to get NIL $? This way we would have more to target portal entrants?

I don't know if foreign players are able to get NIL, but if that's a major factor in how we build a roster, that's not good. I suspect/hope that's not the case.

I thought the Mass Collective figured out a work around with foreign players. They had something going with Tafara Gapare when he was here.

Please don’t take my comment as Frank is settling, I think Bilal has talent and will be a contributor. He can shoot from 3, he is an adept passer and can be disruptive on defense. I was just wondering if by having a foreign player or two this would allow more money for portal entrants and retention.

Another JUCO UMass is showing interest in, Jake Davis 6’4” G of West Valley College. Averaging 14.5ppg, 48.9% FG, 51.7% 3pt.

They’re both from the same JUCO, maybe it’ll be a combo package. Two legitimate shooters with experience together - seems to be the play.
