Correct - 6th place….1 point out of 5th…Sheck wrote: Sat Jan 24, 2026 9:30 pm Great goaltending from Hrabal this weekend. Needed every inch of it. Vermont actually did hit the crossbar a few times, but that was as close as they could get to a goal.
Making up a lot of ground in HE with back-to-back 6 point weekends. Believe that puts is in a tie for 6th with Maine.
Yeah Northeastern is currently in 5th, big game on Friday. Can move ahead of them with a win.TruBluMaroon wrote: Sat Jan 24, 2026 9:38 pmCorrect - 6th place….1 point out of 5th…Sheck wrote: Sat Jan 24, 2026 9:30 pm Great goaltending from Hrabal this weekend. Using old baseball terminology UMass has a game in hand with Northeastern and Maine and two games with BU , the three teams directly above them in the standings andSheck wrote: Sat Jan 24, 2026 9:50 pmYeah Northeastern is currently in 5th, big game on Friday. Especially considering how for a while it would looked like hockey east was a 1 bid league, this is amazing. It’s not just UMass moving up during conference play as there are currently 3 hockey east teams in at large spots whereas for most of the season it’s only been 1.While there’s still a lot of work to be done, UMass went from needing to win the hockey east tournament to now having a real shot at challenging for an at large spot in the ncaas.
