Limit the interceptions and clamp down on giving up big plays on defense…easier said than done.
We were the better team.
On a couple of drives we were totally shredding their defense.

The frustrating thing to me is that UMass could/should be 3-1!

I know you don't like the guy but he didn't force Davis to make terrible throws.. he didnt force Simpson to fumble...we had almost 500 yards of offense.

He also didn’t make Simpson stop at the 10 yard line instead of keep running towards the goal line…

Agreed that was a bizarre time to stop and try a cutback when he had it open in front of him. The turnover on the next play after that was a backbreaker.

The loss sucks, but there were lots of positive things to build on. Gerrell Johnson's chase and punchout was huge, and KLA was again impressive. Receivers were more involved, Campiotti becoming more a bigger part as well. Clean up the turnovers and penalties and we win this game. The record doesn't show it right now, but the team is definitely better, and they should grab a few more Ws this year

Should have won that. Very frustrating. DB really needs to solve the turnover and penalty problems soon.

Penalties this game were fewer but very ill-timed.

Caught the highlights. horrible. No UM scoring until a nice FG just before half. 3 fumble/3 ints 4TOs. 17-13 w/2:26 left - D allows a 50 yd TD pass. 19-17 UM ball at UM25w/1:20 - UM needs 45 yds to kick GWFG. Totally doable. Nope - not even close: inc/sack/inc/inc. Start the bus.

The defense failed to keep EMich from scoring the winning TD.

The defense was great in the second half except the last drive. The offense turned it over twice int eh second half. They moved the ball a ton and gave it away. Need to score points not just rack up yards.
