For those of you losing your minds about the NESN games... this is one of them. And it is listed on ESPN+ as well. Problem solved.
Stop waiting for UMass to do something big and help UMass do something big. - Shades

I read Albany has two players who were probable starters who are injured.

Hasn't been mentioned yet but a reminder that Albany head coach is Amherst native and ex UMass player, Dwayne Killings.

Yes. When I renewed I called Warren and asked if I could get paper tickets. Other than the fact that he said OK, I have no explanation.

Just realized that Jonathan Beagle stayed at Albany after hitting the transfer portal last season.

UMass are 10 point favorites.

Yes, he is back. Changed his mind. I thought we might go for him at one point.
Frank said DHS didn't play in scrimmage but is now practicing and should be ready for Albany.
Foster and Njigue got time at forward.
Does sound like Frank still wants Cross at the 3.
Maybe Foster adjusts and fills some minutes there but he weighs 175.

Gonna buy a ticket tomorrow and make the trek by myself. Been saving Frank podcasts for the ride in case I went. I am very excited for this season.

^ I don't consider it a rumor if Jeff Goodman is the one posting it. https://twitter.com/GoodmanHoops/status ... 8169503783
Our front court is extremely thin now without Majok available for the first 3 and Sawyer gone indefinitely. Our starters are going to have to play like starters, because there is no depth in the front court after Cross, Cohen, and DHS.

we should play a lot of 4 guard lineups anyway..Juice Stand wrote: Mon Nov 06, 2023 12:25 pm ^ I don't consider it a rumor if Jeff Goodman is the one posting it. https://twitter.com/GoodmanHoops/status ... 8169503783

What could nave given him an NCAA three game suspension? Did he mess up some paperwork or something?

Unfortunately, DoctorJ, he got suspended for being too tall. It's a new rule the NCAA created last year. 7'3 and over must sit out first 3 games due to unfairness of height to create better sportsmanship. Players like Zach Edey are grandfathered into the rule.DoctorJ wrote: Mon Nov 06, 2023 12:43 pm What could nave given him an NCAA three game suspension? Did he mess up some paperwork or something?
