No mercy, I want to beat all the Saints this year!

Yes, I think some/many did, and that tournament showing did not help matters in that regard.LS71 wrote: Fri Jan 20, 2023 2:01 pm Personally I think we need to chill the f out!
Did any of us really expect the ship to be righted in half a season?![]()

exactly. and not just Myrtle Beach but the next 2, which were true road games (quibble about Harvard if you must). that was not the team we expected to be tied for A10 13th place in mid-January, having lost at home to La Salle. In the Expectations thread, 13th place was not an option, and overwhelmingly people voted for 3rd-6th in the A10. 6th seems extremely optimistic now.
As far as St.Joe's, I don't know how they rank nationally but they're ahead of all other A10 teams in 3s attempted. Richmond is a close second, so figuring out defense on 3s is critical this week. St.Joe's is more dramatically ahead in % of their shots from 3-point territory.

ESPN has this as the closest two teams I’ve seen in a long time. fraction of point differentiates the two in rankings, even though they seem to play two totally different games.bobolink wrote: Fri Jan 20, 2023 4:15 pmexactly. and not just Myrtle Beach but the next 2, which were true road games (quibble about Harvard if you must). that was not the team we expected to be tied for A10 13th place in mid-January, having lost at home to La Salle. Diggins is starting today with Wildens, Martin, Cross and Weeks.
Hopefully we will have RJ. Not sure if Noah will dress.

From the look of the first several minutes, it’s gonna be an ugly game

I question if our coach is DUMB!!!!!!!!!! When you have so many players who struggle with man to man defense concepts or are slow, you play zone defense..

Wow, some serious home officiating here. Cross got killed on that offensive putback
