I think Bamford must be gone Monday which will give them 6 weeks to hire new AD and let them make the call on coach H

This right here. Bye bye Ryan.

Shouldn’t have fired Don Brown. At least we were competitive last season.

Just heard that UMass will be paying $25 to $50 to every car that parks within two miles of the stadium at the next home game.

Most of the comments last year were that the game had passed him by !

Read on twitter that UMass is having nil issues and not paying the 2-3m that Bambi promised. Anyone have any insight if this is factual?

'm going to have make some decisions that will make me unpopular and not have time to explain. They have to be done for the people that support this program. - JH

Correct. We just need more investment and a better stadium. Plus, MAC move was a game changer. Brought us stability.
Keep repeating it.....it may seem less idiotic at some point.

Did the players give up because they’re not getting paid? That would be something

He went 0-10 last year and blew a 2 or 3 games with idiocy.. he deserved to get canned.

Rene Ingoglia this morning:
As I sit in the San Antonio airport this morning let me make another statement about UMass football. Obviously I have so many people in my mentions I can’t even come close to answering you all. So here you go. I believed in what I saw and heard with this team and program. It obviously has not come to fruition even close. I haven’t done a 180 like some suggest I just adjust with what I see and hear like all of you week to week. I can’t state anymore clearly how disgusted I am with what’s going on. It starts with the people at the top in charge and although I’ve stated I don’t publicly call on people being fired someone or someone’s need to be held accountable. This train wreck needs to stop. I don’t know what’s going to happen but the anger by you all is real and justified. Wins and losses are one thing but when you lose effort, discipline, passion, heart…I can go on…that’s when you lose me.

Feels very much like we're reaching a watershed moment. Coach Joe is making some very strong statements and I'll be interested in seeing what changes he makes this week. Hopefully starting with firing the offense coordinator, who he was apparently forced to hire by Bamford. What have we had, 3 TD's through 6 games?

Saw the same thing, and also that there's a tie in with basketball, which I posted in the hoops forum. If you all remember, when he crashed the press conference a couple weeks ago and announced stadium improvements, his choice of words strongly indicated that they didn't have funding for the stadium either. The money is drying up, or has already dried up, and losses like Bryant and Kent St aren't going to convince big donors to pitch in.

If that’s true that Bamford forced Bajakian on Harasymiak then that should be it for Bamford. He hires a HC and then tells him who to hire? How this fraud has kept his job this long is further proof the leadership of this university doesn’t care about athletics in general and football more specifically. Every move this guy makes is driving supporters away from these programs, maybe that’s what they want. I’m surprised some of the major donors haven’t spoken up about the complete and utter failure that is Ryan Bamford but maybe it’s more important to have your ass kissed than to want programs you can be proud of.

If Rene is calling for Bamfords head you know it's bad. He usually stays away from those things.. I also wasn't aware the the OC was pushed by Bamford.. makes sense because that guy sucks at his job too. I have a feeling Coach H is someone that has no use for people that are bad at thier jobs.. he is finding out he is surrounded by those types.. Bamford is a great politician, and in this state that's what they care about over actually being good at what you do.
