Let me guess, the collective saw a lot of positives from the EMU game.InnervisionsUMASS wrote: Thu Jan 01, 2026 4:05 pm The Collective and fans were fighting again on Twitter after this game, in case anyone missed it.
More we don’t have the money to buy him out because Bamford loves a premature extensioninthescoop wrote: Thu Jan 01, 2026 8:44 pm Too bad we have another season of Frank because he needs to coach his 1 star recruit son lol what an embarrassment
Kind of worse. The collective told a known long time fan that their take, that losing to E Michigan and the scuffle that came after after the game was light years from their reasons (90s hoops being the catalyst) for loving UMass was off base, and the fan had used their platform not to ever help UMass. Basically, being critical of a loss was not fandom. Then folks took sides.inthescoop wrote: Thu Jan 01, 2026 4:37 pmLet me guess, the collective saw a lot of positives from the EMU game.InnervisionsUMASS wrote: Thu Jan 01, 2026 4:05 pm The Collective and fans were fighting again on Twitter after this game, in case anyone missed it.
Irrespective of his kid coming, Frank would be back. Bamford extended him after year two despite Frank having zero leverage to go anywhere else. I'd be shocked if Frank isn't here for at least two more seasons unless the team misses the MAC tourney this season and next. And we're probably stuck with Bamford for another decade. The tiny handful of real money people we have all love him.inthescoop wrote: Thu Jan 01, 2026 8:44 pm Too bad we have another season of Frank because he needs to coach his 1 star recruit son lol what an embarrassment

If Hart is ruled ineligible, does Eastern Michigan forfeit all games this year that he played in? We might improve our record.
don't know about forfeits, but I don't think he should be there when EMU comes to Amherst at the end of this month
was wondering the same thing - got nervous when I saw Abiliene Christian on that list
