So remove Bamford and everything is solved? We have been wretched for a long long time. The stadium stinks, the area is devoid of high school talent, it’s cold, nobody goes to games, no athlete’s making money, and there’s no tradition or record of success. Aside from us being FBS by classification, I can’t think of a single reason why an FBS caliber player would choose to come here. Bamford’s part of it, but it’s also a UMass problem.
