Let me guess when we hear from Dumb_User_Name again: after we get blown out at Rutgers.......then it's his usual script " why is UMass FBS again?" 'never should have left FCS"....."what was the attendance????" of course when I question him on the last game he attended at the Junkyard..."I live in Chicago, how could I?" of course the moron has never heard of airplanes and travel.

It was an email. When I'm at the laptop could copy the it in a pm and send. Do give more now than my entire life. Guessing it went out to those at the 2,500 level or up. Wow, responding to a PM on my phone, but there was a question, where I got the info.

Interview with Coach Joe about the D line and pass rush. He's very excited about what he has seen. That might be good news, or what does it say about our O line? Only time will tell.

I like Coach Joe. I hope he wins at least a couple games. His career is literally on the line. He said in a prior interview that he may be out of CFB if UMass shits the bed this season. Only puzzling thing was when he threw one of our defensive players out of the game last season because he celebrated after an interception. It may have been the Buffalo game.

Nothing puzzling about it. The kid's premature celebration cost us the game. And yes, I do blame the kid (and the coaches). Do your stupid celebrations on the sidelines with the dumb prop of the year.

I’m not in that tier of giving. However, I do give enough to be in lot 11, and have been since 1999 (Putnam club while at Gillette). It is dumb if they only sent it out to higher level donors. I should still know when my tickets will arrive.

Agreed. Before you solicit donations to qualify for L11 Maroon or White - how about telling your donors that they' must enter from Rocky Hill Rd. at the south end and then navigate the south loop to drive to the north end and Lot 11 ? Instead - Why not simply allow Lot 11 STs the freedom of choice to enter from Rocky Hill Rd - or via Bernie Dallas Memorial Mall ?

“Navigate” from Rocky Hill Road is not exactly a term I would associate with driving on a driveway! Pretty simple route.

We're on TV 6 times this year.......and not NESN (with the grainy look). Big Ten network and then ESPN2/ESPNU/CBSSN. That's got to be the highest ever.

yes that is correct BUT what cost us the game was the OL inability to get a first down. if I remember correctly: he kid got the INT; then celebrated and ran around, we got a 15 yard penalty BUT RETAINED possession. Then of course we're close to our own goal line, and our shitty "offense" went 3 and out, we punt it back to them and they went on to score the winning TD. all in the final minute of course.

You are conflating two games. Buffalo was at home a couple of weeks before he sent Bailey packing during a game at Akron. The Buffalo game was the “snow angel” celebration after an INT that led to the complete collapse of game they had in hand. At Akron a couple weeks later and likely a direct result of the Buffalo penalty, coach sent Bailey to the showers for an unsportsmanlike 15 yard penalty after an INT.

If you are local, it's not that hard, but any change is reason to say it is more complicated. Am I wrong to assume most people have access to Google Auto or Waze or some other nav app. From the west is simple, take the N. Maple, the road that runs through the two malls on RTE 9. From the North off of 116 take Meadow street, which is the continuation if I'm cutting off route 202 through Shutesbury and through Cushman.

From the email:
Thank you for your support of Massachusetts Football! We’re excited to welcome you back to McGuirk Alumni Stadium on Saturday, September 12, as the Minutemen kick off the 2026 season against the Sacred Heart Pioneers. Our staff is looking forward to connecting with each of you and ensuring you have a great game day and donor experience all season long.

The UMass Athletic Ticket Office will be loading season tickets, hospitality, and parking passes into your online ticket account in the next week.
Do agree it would have been better to send the email out to those that had Lot 11 passes last year. Perhaps when the tickets getting pushed out, will have the parking changes listed as most years when there is a change.
Be proud of the present and look to the future.

The Rocky hill road entrance makes complete sense as it allows lot 11 to bypass the lot 22/33 traffic. Very weird though that I didn’t receive the email…..I reached out to find out why. I even confirmed with them a few weeks back about having two lot 11 passes for this year. We’ve had three for a few years.

UMass Athletics has a funny way of treating longtime donors to its program  I’m always bewildered at some of the things they do to fans.
