Let's check when the UMass Boston game is...oh cool, Monday Dec. 21. My crystal ball tells me that I will have to pay for that game in my season ticket package, and it will be at around noon on a day when most people are at work. Highway robbery. It shouldn't be the norm, not when you're limited to 10 games because of the lame-ass 22 game MAC conference schedule. Look at BC's OOC schedule, MIT is an exhibition, not a real game. Ryan Bamford decided to make this the norm for us because he can collect ticket revenue for a game that doesn't matter.
Your closing remark is right on the money. This is where we are now. A team that can't even get 10 division 1 games on our schedule. Bamford has killed this program. In the three years prior to his arrival, we went to two NIT's and an NCAA tournament. Since then, nothing, nada, zip, bupkis. We literally went from three straight postseason appearances from 2012-2014 to zero since he set foot on campus in 2015. I'm not yelling at you Mike, I'm just yelling at the clouds.
I posted a few days ago that I'd be happy with the schedule because I was looking forward to Arizona St and Harvard. Those two get dropped and it starts to look pretty damn soft, along with the D3 cash grab.
