According to
@GopherPuckLive
's transfer portal tracker, Bo Cosman has entered the portal and is UMass' first portal entry of the offseason.
He notched 7 points in 22 games this season in an increased role, and provided great energy.
We wish him the best wherever he ends up!

^ With only a few seniors going and it appears more expected coming, some roster slots had to open up.
He worked hard, but injuries and depth made it difficult to really make a consistent impact.

Just glanced at the Transfer Info on Gopher Puck and noticed that BC has the highest +/- of the players listed ……+2 !!! Only two (2) player have a Positive +/- !!

First official for next season released from UM…he is on the Neutral Zone list of 15.
Barrett Dexheimer D , Edina, MN
played in USHL with Nestrasil and Galanek.

That’s excellent news! I’ve been hoping for this every assistant coaching opening UMass has had since 2021. Figured he didn’t want to come back and gave it up as a possibility. Glad it worked out and he’s back!

Word is Evan Moorhouse leaving Brown to join Greg Carvel's staff at UMass, where he'll coach the goalies
He's been at Brown since 2020 as director of hockey ops and goalie coach
Evan was video coach and director of hockey ops for U.S. team at Spengler Cup last winter
His dad is UMass Hockey broadcaster Donnie Moorhouse.

Don’t know if “leaving” is the most accurate description. With T Upton leaving UM to become Brown HC, hiring new assistant coaches is part of the normal process.
Evan is not listed on the current Brown Hockey site as an assistant coach.

I know Upton left but I haven’t heard anyone else has. Is someone else gone too? Steve Mastalerz? He was the goalie coach last season…
