Re: KAEO Danny Carbuccia
No, again, like the ‘some posters want specific players to fail’ charge you utterly convinced yourself of that. You invented it. I don’t for a minute believe my opinions or observations are facts. You made that up. And please let me know how I tried to “bully” anyone about a particular player or “congratulated you for a player doing well.” Huh? Wtf? You sure about that? Show you work. Thanks. And, remember when you told me the “miserable fuck” tag was about Niles, not me? Guess that wasn’t true. What else is disingenuous? Don’t answer that, because any dude who repeatedly says “I’m done responding to you” before charging someone else with doing the same is engaged in a pretty severe form of projection. Follow your own advice and stop taking cheap shots and, more importantly, don’t make shit up about people. It’s bad form. You’re kind of a mess, but I realize it has been a rough season for all of us.inthescoop wrote: Sun Mar 09, 2025 3:29 pm Self awareness, hah. Your issue is that you think your posts and opinions are facts, talk about self awareness. Practice what you preach bud.
Coming in right after the game was over to not discuss the game but to only state that you were right about a player - the proof is in the pudding. Reminds me of when UMass won, instead of being happy that we won and Rivera had a good game, you messaged me saying looks like your guy had a good game, congrats.. instead of being excited you seemed less than thrilled. What kind of loser mentality is that - I am rooting for the entire team and for everyone on this squad. It was quite humorous seeing you congratulate me for a player doing well even though the TEAM won, you did not seem thrilled. Throughout the season you tried to bully posters on here for supporting players on our team, like we were doing something wrong- “no they didn’t improve!! How dare you say they improved!!”
Well, you are a miserable fuck and you continue to let me live in your head rent free.. any time I post, I know you’ll be there baby.
We can always agree to disagree, no need to always respond

Another piece on Danny. The video shows some good decision making.

UMass is getting a true floor general in Danny Carbuccia. The @step_basketball
senior is a college coach’s dream—tough, smart, and always in control. Huge steal for UMass!

We’re excited to share that future Minuteman and Mass Co athlete Danny Carbuccia has just been named the LoHud Sports Westchester & Putnam All-Star Private School Player of the Year!
Danny is a flat-out winner — a three-time champion, 1,000+ point scorer, and 500+ assist machine. His leadership, toughness, and playmaking have set him apart at every level.
As a point of reference, Boogie Fland won this award last year.

Re: KAEO Danny Carbuccia
This is who he is. It's been known that he isn't an outside shooter (including free throws). His strengths are court sense, ball handling and he gets his points from driving to the hoop. He's pretty strong.
If he doesn't improve his FT shooting, you can't have him on the floor at the end of close games. Earlier in the game I think you need to have at least 2 good 3-point shooters on the court with him, or the offense will look like last year's.

Why can't a good athlete be taught/coached into becoming a good free throw shooter? Apparently, it's the mental aspect rather than the physical.

Sounds like a Kerry Herer guy, although I think Kerry was a decent foul shooter.
Re: KAEO Danny Carbuccia
Repetition ..... Taking 20 fouls shots a day at practice is not gonna fix that shortcoming. Usually that is habitual and it takes many hours per week of repetition to fix that over a summer (and into the season).m626t wrote: Wed Jul 09, 2025 10:13 am ^

Also, his teammate and arguably best player for DR in the tournament, Lucas Morillo, is out of Boston and a top 100 recruit. https://247sports.com/player/lucas-morillo-46150527/

What stuck out to me is that his best games were against their strongest competitors, Serbia and Australia.bobolink wrote: Tue Jul 08, 2025 7:08 pm Game log for his recent games in Switzerland:

Going to state this now that I think it is a priority to make sure this kid sticks around. He's been a positive for this program as a Freshman, with of course acknowledging there are areas he needs to improve. Hopefully he wants to stay here.
