We gave up 82 points but after watching the replay I don't think the D was that awful. They had 2 guys get hot from 3 (9/17 between them) and many of them were contested. Our interior D was also OK for us, not great but better. Maybe I'm wearing maroon-colored glasses but that's what I felt while watching it.

anyone know if we went right to Northern Illinois or did we fly home? Being on break it would have made sense to just fly to N. Illinois - Frank made some comments that even though they knew what they signed up for joining the MAC, traveling to Western Michigan was not going to be fun - he also said that since they played Saturday they couldn't practice Sunday and they had to travel Monday so they had little or no time to prepare. If they flew back last night, while not as extreme as this past road trip, they'd still really only have 1 "normal" day to practice as they'd be back on a plane Friday. At least if they went right to Illinois they'd have 3 "normal" days of routine/practice

^I bet they go back to Amherst and fly to Chicago and take a 1 hour bus ride to DeKalb. If they are staying until the 17th, it's a 3 hour ride from Kalamazoo.

They fly charter so these flights are not very long

Maybe they should play with little or no time to prepare more often. That's two wins in a row!

I agree with that 69. They had a little span where they hit many 3 pointers, and if they had shot at a normal %, our lead would have expanded. Sometimes you gotta give other teams a little credit when they get hot

I thought I heard Jay say were flying back on the radio show after the game.

They came home. Few players at the women’s game today. I don’t think the university would be willing to incur the expenses that would come with staying on the road.

Anybody know when was the last time we had 3 twenty-point scorers in a game? I checked the Fordham triple overtime game and the BYU game (105 points) but neither had more than 2.

The last time was against Clemson in 2015. Clark and Davis had 25, and Hinds had 21.

Also happened in 2008 against Duquesne with Forbes 23, Bower and Harris 21.
