Last year, if we only got 3 points total from DHS and Jayden we were cooked. As has been said, Leo, Marcus and KJ did the bulk of the work.

But let's give some credit to Wimbley, who had 7 points, 3 boards, 2 steals, 2 blocks and just 1 turnover. I have criticized him in the past, and now I'm hoping he has figured things out.

I'm also giving some props to Luka, who I also have been hard on in the past. 8 points on 3/3 from the field, 2/2 from the line, 4 rebounds and 2 assists.

We needed the bench to step up for tonight and they did. It was a strange night all around. Ryans, a 26% 3-point shooter goes 4/9 for them. Lewis, a 38.5% 3-point shooter goes 1/8.

Any road win is a good one. That's it for tonight.

Disappointed we aren't seeing Clerc anymore. Happy to see the win otherwise.

Yep, that's how I watch every single game.. Hulu has ESPN+ on it
Yeah the ESPN+ app is crap on my tvs, so it's just easier on the Hulu app.

DirecTV Stream just added ESPN Ultimate to my package…no charge. Download the app, sign in and that’s that…TV and phone.

Disney, ESPN and Hulu are changing. I believe Disney wants to steer viewers there for all three and phase Hulu out as a stand alone.

Missed most of tonight. Why is Clerc not getting run? Are the MAC teams “too small/quick”?

Especially when he's hot like he was tonight. Danny's confidence is growing by leaps & bounds now. He is so clever with his drives and some of his assists are pretty nice.
Free throws seem to have improved greatly by the team. Must be really working on them, nice job

In late and glad we won, but was hoping to be a top 100 program. We are hovering in the under 200, so lots of work to do.
Be proud of the present and look to the future.

In some games a lot of Danny's assists have been finding Banks or Parker for open looks, not real tough assists. I just watched the game on replay and Danny made some great passes to Bettiol at the end of the game. That's what we need from him because we already knew that shooting is not his forte. AS for Bettiol, 7/7 from the line is a nice job by him.

I was disappointed when Frank replaced Parker with Carbuccia in the starting lineup, but I quickly reasoned that it helped give the bench a good scoring option. So I'm OK with Danny starting over Parker. With that said, Parker needs to end up with more minutes played than Carbuccia, and has to be in there to finish games considering his ability to hit FT's. They're a good 1-2 punch at PG, different skill sets, but Parker is more polished right now.

Good summary, 69. This team has options, which is refreshing. And good call on Wimbley and Luka. I could have sworn that Wimbley had at least 4 blocks, and he probably deflected another couple of passes beyond the 2 steals they credited him with. His confidence is growing by the game, and the shots are starting to fall. That's a great sign as Ndjigue's primary backup. I wanted to see Clerc out there, but Luka did well and we got the W so I can't be too upset about it.

Road wins are tough to get. I'm happy with it and we're slowly recovering from the 0-4 start. Currently sitting in 9th place.

people have asked about Clerc and I am also confused too but I honestly feel like Frank doesn't always do what is best for the team. Most coaches when asked why so and so didn't play they say they are just trying to do what is best for the team - Belichick was famous for that. With Frank I think its him being a baby and he's just punishing the player - in turn hurting the team by not always putting the best players on the court. I know this isn't a great example after the game Luka had last night but he would rather go with Luka or even go smaller rather than put Clerc in right now - how is that doing whats best for the team? He's done it a couple times this year with Leo and Parker and he did it quite a bit last year with Malek.

If Frank really thinks he's motivating these kids by embarrassing them by benching them for games on end, he's lost it more than I thought.

Team was pretty efficient last night, especially at the line. I also thought Luka played well, and Wimbley was good as well, much more active. And of course Marcus, K'Jei, & Leo all had their hot runs.

I'm a big K'Jei fan, and I also like when he's on the floor in those 3 guard sets with Marcus & Danny, gives us much more scoring punch. I think it also gives Danny a little more room to drive & dish as those 2 plus DHS & Leo require defenses to stay with their man. When 2 or more guys have good nights, we can put up some points for sure

Wembley is finally starting to play like I hoped he would. He's very active on the defensive end - doesn't rebound as well as Jayden but I see very similar styles of play. Wembley is much more in control and I think he'll be more of an offensive threat than Jayden - not saying I want him to get more of Jaydens minutes but I am a lot more comfortable with him out there than I was two weeks ago. Every time Jayden starts dribbling the ball and trying to go around his man I feel like he's stumbling and its 50/50 if he throws it away or the ball gets tipped - just never seems clean.

Miami and Akron are the only MAC teams below (better than) 100. Current NETs: Miami 44, Akron 54. Bowling Green is just outside at 106. We are 190.
