Personally i have zero tolerance for excuses at this point. They have fubared this completely. Time for jibber jabbering is over, immediate positive change or get out of the way.

^ Ditto.

Bamford repeatedly referenced what he called "deferred maintenance". Any additional delays or excuses are a continuation of that. STFU and get some tangible work done.

This was so long ago. Would like to see the working draft of changes coming before February and forget if it was econ.. or who posted the UMass Campuses facility planning document that is revised every quarter. The planning and not approved item back in September was 15M on the plan.

The picture is from Frank of UMass74 blog, who took the picture.

Read the wrong line, it was 15M and only saved a copy. not the link address. See Mullins between improvements and upgrades is 35M.

Bamford promised us an update in December, and here we are. Hopefully it all gets unveiled at the super secret exclusive high roller meeting on Monday. I'm just your run-of-the-mill fan and alum. I don't deserve any updates, apparently.

Maybe it's just me, but I would not spend 1 penny on McGuirk and put whatever money is available into upgrading the roster. In this era of "money talks", maybe a few million more of NIL money paid by the school could get us 10-15 high level players. That should make us competitive.

I wonder who got the email invite. I have football season tickets, hockey season tickets, and give enough to script U to get a football pass-though I earmarked all that to hockey. I’m not by any stretch a high roller.
UMass Football: 22-3 at home when I was a student.

I've heard about others not getting the email.

It went to at least the Captain level of the ScriptU Scholarship. The email address I received mine from was "The Minuteman Club" with the actual address being a UMAF (UMass Amherst Foundation) one. So even then, it's still not really clear.

^ Totally disagree.

Now i view that position as just another convenient excuse not to upgrade McGuirk (oops we spent that on nil) - which is incredibly dumb and shortsighted on multiple levels including recruiting and future football success.

btw this all goes back to having a financial plan to succeed

Jack gets it. The stadium upgrade goes hand in hand with having a serious FBS program. Without it we'll keep floundering along with no serious investment in the stadium or players.
