I'm pretty confident that is exactly why he got the award. :!:

I was at the Friday game. Maine could have scored 4 or 5 goals with the chances they had. I don't know what's higher than "stood on his head", but he did it on Friday. We were sloppy in our own end again, not as bad as Thursday, but bad by UMass standards.

FYI
There were four (4) Shutouts by Hockey East teams, yet there weren’t four (4) honored!

FWIW…None of the other HE shutouts came against ranked teams.

I don't really know what you're trying to argue anymore. I'm happy he won the award. He played well enough to win it while others did not play well enough to do so. I just don't think he "stood on his head for 2 straight games." Move on man.

With that said, Carvy said yesterday that Hrabel is still day-to-day, so it is likely we see Jackson again this weekend. Hopefully he continues to play well.

I’m not arguing….I just reinforced that one doesn’t have to “(stand)on his head for 2 straight games”
And you reinforced that you had to get the last word …..lol.

54-16…I didn’t realize how badly Maine out shot UMass on Thursday night.

Again, not sure what you're saying here. I agree with you. The original quote I questioned was:
As well he should be. Stood on head 2 straight games vs Maine!
I don't really understand why it is impossible for me to disagree with that quote.

And yes, I will continue on here as long as you continue to not make sense.

Yikes…the game was tied at 2 when we left my daughter’s house….
Looking forward to earning a split tonight.

There was a nice crowd at last night’s game. Hope the Mully rocks tonight!

Gave up 6 goals last night. I'm sure a 4-0 UMass win tonight will secure another Goalie of the Week award.
