^ Thanks for posting that. Maybe I'm alone in this but I do not have a smart phone and have no intention of getting one. I paid for parking with my season tickets (also possibly to be sent electronically). They have a way of pissing off long term season ticket holders.

Yes, I will call the ticket office tomorrow to see what's up. Warren was great. I hope he is still involved.

Wonder about those of us who park in Lot 65 across from the Mullins lots. The lots across from Mullins lots are not on the parking map

I wonder how they came up with the $12 and $17 figures... just so odd, why not $5 and $10, or $10 and $15? At least if you do it that way, you give people an easy Cash option. Headscratching.

As I've said before, I'm ok with charging for parking. It's done everywhere, we were lucky to have it free for so long, and they need to find ways to increase revenue. But the way they're doing it is absolutely boneheaded. Card only, digital only, and $17 on game day? That's nuts.

That's odd, I thought it was illegal to use your phone while driving. How am I suppose to have my pass ready when I'm pulling into the lot? It sounds like things have gone pretty smoothly for football games, but this is going to upset a lot of people, especially the casuals that are used to free parking and have no idea that they're going to be charged $17.

OK, I have renewed my season tickets and paid for parking. But I'm a diehard and am willing to pay the price. However, the decrease in the number of casual fans and single game fans will be huge. I just don't understand the rationale.

The cost part is easy.... see "Creative Fundraising" in Bamford's last presser.....

The process is also easy - see Bamford, as useless an AD in his 11th year as he was when he started.

But seriously, no problem with charging for parking... but where the hell do you get $12 and $17? Who does that??

I would guess they did some reverse math on it. "If we need to generate X dollars, and attendance is typically Y with something like 2.5 people per vehicle, then we need to charge Z to reach X dollars."
