Honestly if it wasn't pointed out that things were different, I might not have noticed, other than the A10/MAC logo swap of course.
Nothing needed fixing, in my opinion.

I like the older version with the wood-grain look of the floor. The new one looks a bit washed out to my eyes. But I agree with Mike, kind of an unnecessary update. Why is the department spending our few precious dollars on this?

Having only one 3 pt line is a major plus. They had to change the conference logos. I assume it is not a new floor, just the old floor getting sanded.

I hadn't realized that the 3pt distance had been the same for the last couple seasons. I guess at some point the women were just told to ignore the closer line.

I gotta say, I like the state of Mass on the floor. I know it's been there, but I like it. I think I prefer the heavier side & end lines tho.

^ I agree.
That said, I want see a winning team more than I care how the floor looks.

This means the italicized 'Massachusetts' is gone and standardized across Football & Basketball. Turf, court, and uniforms. I think at least uniforms for most other sports.
Gone is Sam the Minuteman.
The only resemblance left from the 2003/2012 rebrand is what remains in the evolved Power U.

Women’s line moved back in 2021.

Sam isn't gone, but they rarely use the mascot in branding.

The mapmaker in me is pleased that the Southwick Jog has been retained.

I like the new font because the MU in MULLINS reminds of the UMass logo. Mostly I want to see our guys (and women) reliably make shots from Nantucket and at the other end from just beyond the northwest corner of the state (Williamstown?)
