Good piece about what we all know are Jayden's strong points. He just needs to get himself up to 10 points a game with better shooting percentages.
This year they were 38, 63 and 21.

I love the scrap Jayden brings, but yeah, he really does need to work on his offensive game. Defenses can totally leave him alone in the mid-range or beyond. And if he drives in and gets fouled, it's not a bad foul to give when he's a career .598 from the stripe. Some improvement in those areas would be a big lift for us.

I'd like to think that making 9 of his last 11 FTs in most recent games means significantly improved FTs, but not enough to know.

Violating my own principle of not saying the same thing in multiple threads, but it's worth reiterating here and not just the Portal thread.

The Mass Collective has communicated that Jayden will return to UM for his junior season.

Guys coming back is at least in part due to Mass Co's efforts in putting together competitive NIL packages. Like it or not, that's the world we have now. You can help by putting some money into the Mass Co's fund.

Really pleased with Jayden and Daniel returning. Those two guys are cornerstones to build around. I also really like our transfer pick up. Kudos to Pat and the Collective on the fine work so far. Wish Nate was sticking around. I would've like to see him develop. Anyway, count me in as someone who thinks we need an impactful guy at the 5.
