Bring back Cal and then give every NIL dollar to one superstar player! It can’t be any worse than the current product. Only Curry, DHS and Ndique are worth keeping if you have an extra NIL to spare!

Arkansas doesn't deserve an at large bid with a 8-10 conference record. I believe any team under. 500 in conference play shouldn't get a bid.
Disagree about the conference record. 13 of the 16 SEC teams are likely to make the tournament. Do you want the best teams or teams that happen to play in weak conferences?
So you believe a 6-12 Oklahoma and a 6-12 Texas in conference play are tourney worthy teams (based ESPN bracketology)? Yes they beat good teams but winning 33% of there conference is just not good. You're supposed to make your bones in conference play and they definitely did not.
The SEC was the best conference in the country and it wasn’t close. The SEC won 14 out of 16 games in the ACC-SEC challenge. Louisville and Clemson would likely have losing records in the SEC but are two of the top 3 teams in the ACC and will make the tournament. You have to consider the strength of the schedules to assess records. That’s why things like Quad 1 wins matter and SEC teams just have more, even if they have losing conference records, because they are playing Quad 1 teams almost every game. Again, the goal is to get the best teams, regardless of conference.

Agree Give one or two players $ Then try for luck ! Rutgers did it and their season was not great ! But those two were freshmen ! Need a few upperclassmen!

I believe any team with 20 wins should get a bid. About as logical as your belief. Translation: no logic to see here.

Cal and Pitino both in Providence, with the possibility of meeting each other in the 2nd round, with Lappas doing TV color commentary and a former UMass player on the court. HA!

Great to see the insufferable Pitino lose. Keeping your best player on then bench the final four minutes, despite he was struggling today, is just plain nuts.

Yeah, that was bizarre. Let the kid play out the string and try to make some big buckets down the stretch.

Tough loss for Arkansas tonight - gave up a 16 point lead. Calipari is definitely feeling it tonight.. Arkansas had a great tournament, they’re lucky to have John as their coach

Boy did they botch that one.

Will be interesting to see how they do going forward with Cal, and how long he sticks with coaching.
