^ For their sake, hopefully the bad loss to Lowell served as a wake-up call.

UMass has had it’s fair share of losses like that over years

Will anyone from here, other than @umasscollective, be at tomorrow's game in person? My wife and I just arrived to Honolulu and we'll be in row 11 of section D (though we may "upgrade" our seats if the attendance for UMass games is sparse) for the first two UMass games (we will somewhere over the Pacific during the third day of the tourney). PM me or just stop by to say hello!

If UMass team that beat WVU shows up, then I am cautiously optimistic about our chances. GATech is a better team in many aspects than WVU, so it's going to be tough.

Spread now Umass -2.5. I don't get it? No way this is any better than a pick em' and Umass should be getting 1.5

Heat check CBB putting this matchup in the Excited Gus Johnson "watchability" column is fun.

of the many CBB games today, this one gets highest watchability in its combination of expected high scoring and close outcome. I have no idea if either of those will happen, but those oddsmakers often know stuff.

I’ll trust Vegas over the doom and gloom regulars here. The common opponent Lowell games could be the couple points and the Frank factor which has always been underestimated here.

Sorry, but I'm not buying it. If both teams play to their top level I think GT wins. They have played a much harder schedule than we have, with 3 very good wins and a couple of stumbles. But both stumbles were early in the season.

If we play our best and they are off just a bit, we have a chance, but I think their ceiling is higher than ours. This may be a game decided by who does the best coaching job. I'm sure GT saw the problems we had with the WV zone and I'm sure Frank has had them working on zone offense. Should be a good game.

You are definitely over hyping GT. They are 6-3 and have a couple of blowout losses to go with the Lowell loss. They were predicted bottom 5 of ACC, very comparable to BC.

The coaching will be an interesting matchup. Forgot that GT got Damon Staudemare from the Celtics bench last year.

You have a GT team that's been very volatile with a wide range of outcomes going up against a pretty consistent/steady Umass team. Even the Towson loss, while unfortunate, wasn't a major eye sore and was their only true road game so far. Maybe the neutral game against WVU is carrying some of this weight considering this is also a neutral site game. I don't think it's that far off. Either way, I'd be shocked if the outcome is +10 margin for either team. Should be a good game and fun to watch.

I like our chances here. The guys are buying in on the defensive end and a few more guys are stepping up offensively to give us more balance. And we've been fairly consistent. Coming together, Minutemen by 6

Unfuckingreal, they're pushing the broadcast of UMass-Ga Tech to ESPNews to finish a G League game. The place I'm at right now doesn't have ESPN News, this is bullshit.
